What Causes Fluttering Feeling In The Middle Of The Chest?

hello. I am experiencing fluttering feeling in the middle of my chest. I awoke this morning in a rapid manner-getting up quickly and walking fast, like I was trying to run away from it. I have been told I have a small nodule on my heart. as the day progressed, im still feeling like the feeling is there but not as strong as this morning. thank you.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Fluttering feeling in the chest is mostly due to palpitations (rapid heart rate). Since you had nodule in heart, arrhythmia can be the possibility.
So better to consult cardiologist and get done
1. Ecg
2. 2d echo
3. Holter monitoring ( 24 hour continuous recording of ECG ) todiagnose arrhythmia.
If all areinormal then no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
Anxiety can also cause similar symptoms.
So avoid stress and tension.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
