What Causes Fluid Filled Stretch Marks And A Boil Around The Hip?
Hey there. I have had a boil type thing come up on my hip and i have stretch marks in that area and they are full with fluid. Its extremely painful to touch and has only taken a day to fully swell. Just wondering what im able to do in the mean time as i cant see a doctor at the moment
It is possible that pus is present in the boils as well, meaning that an infection is present.
The use of magnesium sulphate paste can help to encourage drainage to occur, it tends to draw out foreign material/infectious material. Anti inflammatory pain killers such as naproxen, voltaren, ibuprofen, would help to reduce the discomfort and swelling.
You can clean the area gently with a mild antiseptic as well and apply a topical antibiotic.
If there is no improvement, you may need to see your doctor. Oral antibiotics may be required.
I hope this helps
