What Causes Fluctuations In Blood Pressure?

I have a bp of 117/91. I am overweight (270 lbs, 6 1 ). I walk at least 8000 steps a day, but ypically 10,000 steps/day. My endocrinologist has me on Lisinopril and I am taking magnesium supplements. I expected my bp to be lower on the low side. I was at 154/100. Does the higher low number indicate anything specific?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your blood pressure is normal after medicine. Slight variation in blood pressure is common within the same day. Even intra observer variation is also there. So no need to worry. It's not fluctuating too much. Continue with your medicine and go for regular checking of blood pressure. Take the treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
