What causes fluctuating heart rate and BP?

I am experiencing fluctuating high and low pulse rates. ( 42 - 92 ). With this I also note more than usual fluctuating BP s. Is there a correlation? Per my BP monitor it indicates irregular heart rate. This is confirmed by taking a manual pulse. There does not appear to be any type of related pattern as I look at these readings. Irregular heart rates may have a high or low pulse or a high or low BP. Please clarify .
