What Causes Flu Like Symptoms,diarrhea And Itchy And Dry Mouth?

I have been experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, fatigue, leg muscle cramps/clicking ankles, runny nose and stomach aches (more frequently). Diarrhea, regurgitating after recently eaten food(s), breakouts of pimples near edge of mouth, dryness in mouth, low eye visibility, and itchness around mouth and crotch (less frequently).) on and off for the past 3-4 years. Now, my questions are: Do you think these could be symptoms of HSV? (Keeping in mind i have recently been experiencing white meniscule dotS on my lips. Are all sores of HSV in scattered blister form? Lastly, Are these symptoms more similar to stomach flu? Fyi.I do smoke tobacco.I do smoke marijuana.I do drink alcohol

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ,diarrhea and itchy and dry mouth which is because of upper respiratory tract infection , oral infection , acid reflux or side effects of certain medicine . I would suggest you to chew sugar free chewing gums and also suck tart candies as it will help in stimulating saliva flow and will definitely ease your symptoms. You can gargle with specialized mouthwashes that are formulated for dry mouth patients like Biotene. You can instil artificial saliva drops containing Methylcellulose and limit intake of coffee, tea, tobacco. If condition doesn't get well then consult general practitioner . Doctor may prescribe anti viral in case of viral infection along with lopramide or refer you to gastroenterologist for gastric problem or dentist for oral infection .
