What Causes Floaters In The Right Eye?

Hi can you give me some advice please , I have suddenly developed floaters in my right eye a black dot that moves and some cobweb ,its there about 4 wks iv been to opticians and had my eyes tested and got glasses for short sight ,she said the back of my eyes were healthy , iv also some pain , I had a fall last October banged my head on the right and broke my lright shoulder , would this be connected to the fall ,and should I get more tests . my eye feels tierd and sore . thank you

Welcome to HCM
One point which is missing in your history is your age. Sudden floaters are usually due to
1. PVD. Due to aging vitreous degenerate and its detachment from the retina leads to floaters which moves with the eye movement and cast a shadow which gives impression of a black spot in the field. As its a aging process so there is nothing to worry about.
2. muscae volitantes. normal opacities which becomes more obvious with aging.
3. Post traumatic floaters decrease the vision to a significant level with mainly VH (not possible), retinal tear(posterior segmented screened so may not be the cause)
I feel its likely to be a PVD. So keep up with the followup and keep unusual anxiety at bay.
