What Causes Flatulence, Stomach Pain And Mucus In Stool?
Hi .. My baby has been on elecare for about a week now due to reflux ..... He is also in a reflux treatment nexium 2.5 mg 2 times a day( 5mg daily). He is also gassy and screams like he is in pain even though is better than before ..... Today he had mocus on his poop and it got me concerned.. Is it normal or should I switch back

Hi,
If he is improving and is not very sick, you do not need to be worried a lot. Mucous in still is many times normal. So if no blood, no loose motion then only mucous may well be quite normal.
