What Causes Flat And Slightly Raised Marks On My Arms?

I have flat and slightly raised marks on my arms that are also showing up on my legs. They can get itchy; but they are pale at first, then turn light pink and are shaped funny. My doctor said it was hives; however I have had hives from maproxin and other drugs and these marks are totally different.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I too think these marks are due to hives. It is due to an allergy reaction to anything you smelled/consumed. The shape and coloring sometimes differ, are not the same.

So, to me, you should just focus and try to understand and find out what caused these marks in order to prevent future allergy reactions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
