What Causes Flashes Of Light In The Line Of Vision?

Hi. I literally just sat down to watch tv with my kids and a small flashing circle appeared in my view. It appears when I close my eyes so I don’t think its related to sight (I have 20/20 vision recently checked). The circle of lights flashing is continuing to expand and is affecting my vision. What the heck do you think this is? - Side note I was in a car accident in the past month and I’ve had a mild to moderate headache consistanty since the 20th of Feb. Have neck pain and narrowing of c5-6

Hello,

This is a scintillating scotoma of migraine. This may be precipitated by head injury. This will require extensive treatment if such attacks occur repeatedly.
