What Causes Flank Pain For A 29 Year Old Female?

Hi, I am a 29 yr old female I had had some pretty intense right flank pain for about a month I can t tell if it s my kidney or gull bladder but I woke up today and had severe cramps on my left side when you push on my stomach it hurts way worse and I just urinated what looked like clear hair gel. I don t have a family doctor to go see and nearest hospital is an hour away, any ideas on what this could be?

Hi.

Noted your history about a 29 year old female having pain in right side of abdomen for the last one month, woke up with severe pain on left side of abdomen and passed gel like thing in urine.
Although the hospital is an hour away it is mandatory to have proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations to know the exact cause as you have the problem for one month that is exaggerated today.
This can be due to many a factors like appendicitis, ovary related problems, colitis, urinary tract infection and so on.
Hence I would suggest you the following in such a situation:
Consult a Doctor.
Get an ultrasonography of abdomen.
Tests of urine: routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
Tests of blood.
All these guide for further evaluation like CT scan or son.
These will give a proper diagnosis so that an appropriate management can be done to get a possible cure.
