Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Brown colour stools may be due to irritable bowel syndrome or iron or bismuth antacids intake. Usually brown colour stools may be normal variet. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
