What Causes Fever, Headache, Pain In Neck, Sensitive Skin And Cough?

My daughter has had a fever for 3 days now. It varies from 102.2, 101,& now it is right around 100. She has a headache & neck ache, her skin was very sensitive now just a little sensitive. She has no other symptoms except a slight cough. She is 15 yrs old.

It may be viral, bacterial or fungal.

Since there is neck and head pain it is necessary a medical examination to evaluate involvement of meninges and the necessity for antibiotics.
