General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is very likely you are having a viral infection. It normally should be better in a total of 7 days. You have already had the symptoms for 5 days and have started to feel better.
I would recommend you to take plenty of oral rehydration solutions to substitute both water and electrolytes and also rest as much as you can.
If you are not better in 2-3 days or you notice any worsening or if you are not able to take more fluids than what you are loosing with the bowel and the vomits, you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
