What Causes Feeling Of Spasm/pressure In Bladder With History Of Kidney Stones?
I had a kidney stones in the middle of July and as far as I know, the stone has passed. Since then I have had a lot of pressure on the bladder and sometimes it feels like a spasm in the bladder. I feel like I have to urinate all the time but not much comes out. When I get up during the night it goes like a river. This is when I am sleepy and relaxed. I have had an ultra-sound and everything looked good. I have had stones before and never had this problem afterward.
I welcome you to healthcare magic for your health concerns I am Dr Fahim and I will looking into your problem
I have gone through your question and understood your concern. It appears to be a calculi (stone) in the bladder. When you are active its moves and gets impacted at bladder neck, thus not letting the urine to pass. At this moment you feel intense urge to pass urine, apply a lot of pressure, bladder contracts but of no use. As the outflow is obstructed by the calculi. At night when you lie down and relax, the stone dislodges from the bladder neck and you passes urine with ease. You need to have an Ultrasound KUB (Kidney, Ureter and Urinary bladder) and then consult a urologist who will guide about further course of action.
