What Causes Feeling Of Heat In Toes?

Hi, I m a 60 year old female with high platelets controlled by anagrelide. They in the normal range with medication. I am also on aspirin low dose daily. Apart from this quite healthy though a bit underweight. 7 and a half stone and 5ft 3. I am about to fly to New York and have noticed over the past few days that I m experiencing sudden heat in my toes which although not painful is a bit concerning . Any ideas why I m getting this?
