Pregnancy causes dilation of the blood vessels and higher cardiac output. There are many symptoms related to these and other cardiovascular pregnancy related physiological changes and are considered normal. When nervous cardiac output increases and you can feel heart beatings in hands, feet, temples, etc. Rest and the beating subsides.

160/86 is not considered normal. That should be paid more attention.
