General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
It can be anything, some injury to throat while eating in haste, some hard object been swollowed, adenoids swollen at back of throat, something wrong with nasal passage or ear. All the areas are adjacent and have nerve supply from the same nerve branch. You need a thorough ENT check up to point the cause, followed by specific treatment. Please consult an ENT doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
