What Causes Fatigue, Severe Hair Loss And Anxiety?

I think I have an underactive thyroid. I m a 20 year old active female. I ve been fatigued, I can t seem to lose the weight I ve put on since going to college even though I now work out daily and eat healthy. My hair is constantly shedding and within the last year it s been more than normal, I think I have anxiety/OCD and even though my eyes have always appeared large (even as a child) that s still a concern of mine. I m wondering if these characteristics are enough to raise a warning flag or if I m just being a hypochondriac.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM.
your current symptoms can be suggestive of hypothyroid. to role out that please run a blood test with the following TSH, T3, T4 those will test the activity of your thyroid gland, and will point out if the there is a thyroid in origin problem, and will help you with getting rid of your concerns.
Please run the test under supervision of your endocrinologist, incase of abnormalities the doctor will be able to take proper treatment measures from there.
hope that helped.
Dr. Ahmad
