Hello,

Shortness of breath with the history of hypertension and while on antihypertensive medication is concerning for the possibility of cardiac issues including coronary artery disease. An EKG and echocardiographic evaluation of heart are warranted at this point. Also, keep a blood pressure diary to carefully monitor fluctuations in blood pressure. If the systolic pressure seems to frequently go high, increasing the dose or changing antihypertensive should be considered.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
