What Causes Fatigue And Severe Heart Burn After Treating Food Poisoning?

Hi there, I m curious what might be going on. about 1.5 weeks ago I had what I thought to be food poisoning or a stomach flu. all the typical symptoms were present. diarrhea, back ache, head ache, severe fatigue, no appetite. Then after a couple days of that, for the last week I ve been very tired, have no appetite, can t seem to sleep enough, and heartburn is very bad. Could this have been a stomach flu or food poisoning still affecting me now?

Hello,

I don't think these symptoms are much related to food poisoning.
It can be related to gastritis, inflammation of the mucosal lining of the stomach.
You can use omeprazole treatment.
Also eat three hours before bed, don't eat much of acidic food such tomato, fruit juices, fried food etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
