What Causes Fatigue And Coughing Even After Treatment For Bronchitis?
I am recovering form having bronchitis for several weeks, finished Augmentin on Monday. Still quite fatigued and my soft palette is yellow and I have bumps on my throat. Occasionally throat is extremely sore but usually no pain. Doesn't appear to be white spots like strep - more raised bumps. Still coughing after 3+ weeks, though less frequent. Inhaler helps with chest tightness. I am 50. GERD has been pretty bad recently - restarted dexilant.

Thanks for your query.
You probably need to carry on inhalers with appropriate dosage because bronchitis may persist and may lead to chronic bronchitis for that you need to undergo a spirometry test for proper evaluation of your disease. For GERD you need to take pantoprazole tablet 40 mg twice daily before food for at least 6 weeks.
