What Causes Fatigue Along With Dizziness And Sore Throat?

My husband is 63 years old. Smoker, 40+ lbs overweight, heart skips a beat, on eliquis, The past week he has felt fatigue, dizziness, throat (esophegas) is sore to swallow and just sore, and just all around not feeling up to par. He has seen his heart Dr. 2 weeks ago and his primary Dr. about 6 weeks ago. He was feeling fine during these visits. Just the past week+ he has been feeling unwell. Any clues?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. The symptoms your husband is experiencing deserve further and more thorough investigation. So, I recommend you start with a blood and urine test and go from there. He will most probably need an endoscopical investigation of his throat and esophagus. Based on the findings, his doctor will give the proper recommendations. All the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ornela Ademovi
