What Causes Fast Heartbeat And Shivering When Going To Sleep?
When I start to fall asleep, like right when I am about to doze off my heart will begin to beat extremely fast and my whole body will begin to shake. Not just a cold shake but my body will almost sway like my bed is being rocked back and forth. Any idea what this could be?

It's because of anxiety you're having these symptoms.
I would suggest you to meditate for sometime before going to sleep but if it still persists, you should go for a course of clonazepam 0.25 mg at bed time and propranolol 40mg twice a day till 7 days and you'll be alright.
