Hello, Recently I ve noticed that my heart rate when laying down gets quite high. At the moment, it s 126 bpm and I m just laying in bed. I m only 5 foot 4 inches and 90 lbs. Heart problems do run in my family. I ve been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, but I m not anxious right now at all. Of course, I also have been diagnosed with moderate ADD which I ve been prescribed Adderall for. I understand the drug can raise your heart rate, but as I said earlier, this only happens when I lay down. I ve had EKG s that came back completely normal. In the past, before I started the medication, I ve had seizures upon standing up after laying down, even if I hadn t been laying down for long. I was told that it had something to do with blood pressure. I m wondering if this is normal or if I should talk to my doctor about it. So far it s not causing any major problems, just a bit of discomfort, but I d like to catch it early if there s a potential problem.
