Hi,I have an 18 year old daughter who is very sporty and active, she has plaid football since the age of 6, and now plays semi professional for Burton Albion Ladies. Since November 2014 she has had episodes of fainting, blacking out and dizziness and her breathing has stopped for a short period. She has undergone various tests and scans to try and determine the root cause, without success. She has now had a Medtronic Revealer inserted under her skin in her chest again to try and ascertain the root cause of the problem. Today she played her 1st competitive game since the Revealer was inserted, during the match she was knocked to the ground which caused her to feel nausius, dizziness and a taste of blood in her mouth. Could you please advise me on if it is safe for my daughter to continue to play football with the Revealer inserted and if so what type of padding/support to wear to protect herself. Her local doctor has stated that its not ideal to play but due to my daughter also suffering depression, her playing may help to improve her mental state of mind.
