What Causes Eye Twitching Post A Facial Radio Frequency Treatment?

Hi, in April I had a facial radio frequency treatment at the spa I work at from a vendor. I did not know anything about it and there was no consent form, it was hot and painful and I got a burn blister between my eyes. The next day I had a sunburned feeling in my cheeks and a lower left eye twitch that continues to this day. Long story short, I have systemic lupus and this heat induced a flare, I went on pred and the facial edema is less but the eye twitch is there, could I have permanent eye nerve damage from the radio frequency?

Hi,

Twitching of the eyes usually occurs because of dryness of eyes which commonly occurs in people who are exposed to computer for long continuous hours. However this is not a serious condition hence no need to be worried. You need to prevent dryness of eyes by use of artificial tears eye drops as advised by me in previous answer. Along with you need to avoid use of caffeine containing drinks like coffee, tea. Use of multivitamin supplement tablets will be of help.
