What Causes Eye Pain While Moving The Right Eye And Blurred Vision?

My fiance was experiencing eye pain when moving his right eye medially and laterally. Blurred vision followed and now it is extremely difficult for him to see out of his right eye. His optician said he was nearsighted and prescribed glasses yesterday. His blurred vision and pain in the right eye still persists. I fear it is something more. Is it common for blurred vision to persist?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. Thanks for writing to HCM.
I read and understand your question very well.
I try my best to help you in this.

As you have pain in eye while moving right eye and blurred vision, This may occur due to any injury to eye, or many other pathology.
I advice you to consult a good ophthalmologist for this.

I hope my advice will help you a lot.
Thanks and Regards.
Dr Vijay
