What Causes Eye Floaters And Dizziness In An Elderly?

2 days ago I had flashes of light when I turned over in bed with a feeling of dizziness. This continued intermittently for the last 2 days. I seem a little better today but still feel achy and just a little out of it. The flashing lights seemed to be like several lightening flashes side by side in vertical position only they were black with light coming through in between. I normally have a good appetite but have had very little concern for food until today when I ate 2 small meals. I am a healthy and active 76 year old poor computer input skills.
