What Causes Extreme Sleepiness During The Day Time?
I am extremely sleepy during the day and can t stay awake for more than 6 hours without taking a nap. I don t feel rested even after a full nights sleep, and I wake up several times every night. I am considering trying a medication for my condition. I am afraid of new medications, and read on your website the #1 prescribed medication for narcolepsy; which seems to be the disorder that I have; is called Adderall. Would you recommend that I request my primary care doctor to prescribe this medicine or should I ask my psychiatric doctor? I am a 59 year old male in relatively good health, do you recommend that I give this medication a try?
