General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
It can be hypoglycemic in fasting state. If some body was around at that time, look for jerky movements (a seizure or fainting look). In such a case, show to family physician for examination and needful referral to expert.
In case of nausea, try to suck a lemon drop chocolate. It would give some sugar supply and also stop nausea as well as prevent fainting. You do need a good physical check up and needful investigations to find the cause of fainting. Even refractory error of eye can cause such symptoms. Your doctor may advise for eye check up. In short it's good to have doctors consultation to find, cure or prevent further attacks.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
