What Causes Extreme Left Upper Gastric Pain With Watery Stools?

I had extreme left upper gastric pain. Passed some stool, but pain persisted. Two hours later watery stool with mucous-like bright red blood. I took an acid reducer, Ranitidine, and pain lessened. Should I make an appointment to see a doctor? My stomach still feels a little gassy.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of extreme pain in the left lower abdomen, watery stool with mucus and blood, Ranitidine reduced the pain.
Yes, you should see a Doctor immediately as there is diarrhea with mucus and blood.
I would advise you further :
Clinical evaluation and examination of vitals, in general and local of the abdomen.
Send stool sample for tests.
Tests of blood and urine.
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole.
Colonoscopy to see the exact condition of the large bowel.
