What Causes Extreme Headache At The Moment Of Orgasm?

My friend experiences an excruciating headache right at the moment of orgasam. She has called her gyno and he has never heard of this and referred her to her general practicioneer who cannot see her till sometime next week. He said she probably should have head catscan. The pain is in the right lower back behind ear. Very intense at the moment, has to sit up to get to subside (takes 4-6 minutes), has a mild headache now. She has never had headaches. This started about 9 days ago. Your suggestion? Should she get to the ER or wait to make appt.?

Extreme headache on orgasm is a condition occurs in rare cases. It is actually accentuated on account of high systolic pressure. But not itself a disease. It is associated with some underlying pathology. Get the blood pressure done and have a CT scan cranial. No specifix medication is required.
