What Causes Extreme Fatigue And Dryness In The Eye?
My daughter has been suffering with extreme fatigue, dry eyes, and now just recent memory fogginess. She is 33 years old. Has had all blood tests, cat scans and all is negative. Had her tonsils et al taken out. A syst removed from her neck. Been to the eye doctor who put her on mesds for dry eyes. Both ent and eye doctor have referred her to a rhematalagis. They are thinking her auto immune system. The ent Doctor has been working very diligently with her and concerned but could not do anything further. He is staying in contact with her. We are in a quandary with this. Any help or advise is helpful as this doctor appointment is not until August. Thank you.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Dryness of eyes with fatigue At first glance your daughter seems to have a immunity problem like sjogren syndrome which is characterised by the symptoms like she has. Other possibility is uncontrolled diabetes. She needs investigations to reveal the cause , followed by specific management. Let he consult a physician&continue with the treatment she has been advised....Let her increase intake of liquids like water, juices, soups . Thanks
