What Causes Extended Periods With Dark Discharge And Dizziness?

These last few months I have been having very odd feelings, I get very dizzy during a hot shower and feel like im about to pass out. I also have been on my period for 3 weeks and lately have been having a brown reddish discharge. I get constant migranes and have a very bad cough these past two days, is any of this sound like anything?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, that cough needs to be looked at. A cough lasting for more than 2 weeks should be reported to a doctor, and so if at all you do have the cough for long then please report for an x-ray chest investigation.

Having a period for 3 weeks on, is abnormal and can result in anemia. I would urge you to report to your doctor at the earliest as you clearly have something going on. Some of the causes for menorrhagia are polyps, uterine fibroid, intra-uterine devices, hormonal imbalance, abnormally functioning ovaries, adenomyosis, pregnancy, etc. Please report to your doctor for further evaluation.

Best wishes.
