What Causes Excruciating Shoulder Pain In An Elderly Person?

iddle. it has grown to the size of a golf ball. It doesn t move around. and is hard and hurts to the touch. just recently he has been in excruciating shoulder pain. what could this be? he is,83 and has, not had any, recent injury but did pick up something heavy a week ago which he believes is a seperate issue and is claiming that is what is aggravating his shoulder

I would recommend you to get x ray to check what is the cause of the this swelling. It can be a bony swelling. Also i would recommend you to take Brufen for painrelief.
