What Causes Excessive Weight Loss While Suffering From Diabetes?
My husband has type 2 diabetes. He was diagnosed 4 years ago. He is 66 years old. He continues to lose weight and is currently 119 lbs and is 5ft 7in tall. He was never obese and over the last four years he has lost about 35 lbs. We believe his diabetes is genetic. Below is a list of medications that he is currently taking. His bloodwork number last month was at 7.6. I am trying to convince him to see a diabetes specialist because our family doctor does not think he needs to see one. I am very worried about him but he continues to trust our family doctor. Kindly inform us if this weight loss is normal or if we should see a specialist. Thank you INVOKANA 300MG. MIRTAZAPINE 30MG. ADALAT XL 20MG METFORMIN 500MG. JANUVIA100MG. ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM 20 MG
