What Causes Excessive Thirst And Dry Mouth At Night?
I am a 63 year old white female. I have been feeling excessive thirst and a very dry mouth at night. I also wake up with muscle cramps in my feet and legs and I sometimes have muscle cramps between my ribs and in my abdomen. I drink lots of water and only drink alcohol in social occasions

The most common cause for such feeling would be mild acid reflux. This is quite common and can be managed by avoiding oily and spicy food and medications like omeprazole 20mg.The cramps may be due to faulty sleeping position. Please discuss this with your doctor.
