Hello,
Thank you for your query.
An Infant grows continuously with intermittent spurts.
During these spurts and
teething period, they tend to sleep whenever possible with little wake time.
Key pointers in good health are:
-if he is feeding well
-passing urine and stools normally
-sleeps well
-cries when hungry or need a diaper change
-pink skin(of fair skinned) and warm arms and feet.
-making eye contact and communicating when awake.
If all this is happening then there is nothing to worry about.
If however, you feel something is wrong, follow your instincts & consult his
pediatrician.
Warning signs:
-poor feeding
-fewer diaper changes
-not waking for feeds or when soiled
-
cold extremities, pale skin.
Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to call his doctor if you need to clarify anything.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you all good health
