He can barely function at times and appears grandchild. He seems to almost be sleeping while half conscious. His movements are unbearably slow. It has been Life changing. Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

The possibility of brain-related pathology is more likely for his excessive sleepiness. So better to consult a neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI of the brain. If MRI is normal then get done serum sodium level as hyponatremia (low serum sodium) can also cause similar symptoms in old age.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
