What Causes Excessive Sleepiness And Depression While On Meloxicam?

Hi, and thanks for answering my questions. I just started taking Meloxicam three days ago. Since then, I m been abnormally sleepy and slightly depressed, something I almost never am. Is it possible that one or both of these is a result of the drug?

Hell, Thanks for the query.
With Meloxicam usually seen side effects include :stomach upset, nausea,
drowsiness, diarrhea, bloating, gas, dizziness, nervousness, headache, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, or skin rash. Very rarely sleepi feeling may occur. But depression is not reported. Therefore, feeling sleepy may be a possible effect of that drug, but depressed feeling is not likely due to Meloxicam. Thanks.
