What Causes Excessive Hair Growth On The Face And Neck?

Hello doctor. I m 38 yr old single female. I m having increase in my facial hairs and on neck. Also my crown area ve thin hairs with wide partition on head. My hair fall is 50 to 100 a day. I ve white hairs on eyebrows upperlips and on underarms. My periods are on time but flow is very slow. Just 2 days. I m having this problem for last 4 to 5 years. Pl help.

Hello Dear. You might be having conditions of hormonal imbalance. The most common cause in women is PCOD (Olycystic ovarian disease). You need to consult a gynecologist who may treat you with anti-androgen medications, hormonal pills to balance your hormones. You can also consult dermatologist for laser therapy and removal of excess hair.
