What Causes Excessive Burping With Pain In Mid Chest?
Hi I have been burping for 4 weeks now constantly I get chest pain mainly in morning on my left side I feel like pressure in the middle of My chest just other rib cage belly hurts now and again and always rumpleing and also back pain right in the middle same place as middle of chest 4 weeks now and seems to be getting worse
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to: 1. Gastrointestinal cause- due to accumulation of gas and excess acid formation in stomach. Symptomatic relief can be obtained with intake of Proton pump inhibitors like Pantoprazole, which prevent acid formation in stomach (to be taken before meals)+ antacid gel (to be taken after meals).
2. Spasm of the chest muscles- management will involve application of muscle relaxant gel & intake of analgesic (like Diclofenac) + Pantoprazole preparation.
However, an ECG can be done to rule out any Cardiovascular cause for the symptoms.
So, kindly consult your Doctor and start treatment as advised. There is no need to worry, you will be fine. Take care.
