Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 36 year old mother of 3, 135 lbs & 5'6. I am active & exercise at least 3 times a week. Eating right isn't an issue due to fear of developing any hereditary diseases. For the past 3 weeks, my heart began pounding hard when I cross my legs, stand too long, lay down or recline. This is new and starting to scare me because now sometime it takes minute to go away. Is this bad?
HI Well come to HCM Without the tracing of EKG it is not possible to know whether the heart beat is normal or not the only mean to know the rhythm of heart is EKG, if you have feeling of some problem in heart beats then is advisable to get done the EKG, hope this information helps.
