What Causes Enlargement Of An Endocrine Gland?
The Neuro surgeon office called and said the doctor will read the report and labs and get back to me in a week. I had the report sent to the endocrinologist. He is such a good dr..but doesn't speak great english he said the report says :
They gave the size of the gland, which is now a bit bigger than a month ago. There isn't a tumor present. But the gland is enlarged. Tissue is growing rapidly. And the last line states they are not ruling out a macroedenoma of 1.3cm. What would make the gland be enlarged unless it is a tumor?

it depends on what gland is enlarged. may develop hyperactivity. it can be macroadenoma. so the report and patient to doctor. may be it requeres surgical removal.
