What Causes Elevated Triglyceride Levels And Palpitations?

Sir, I am 29 years old (Male). In 2014 I came to know that I have LVH through ECHO as my ECG was abnormal and cholesterol (Triglycerides) levels were high. Even I had heart beat rate palpitations. Started medication under guidance of cardiologist and I took Fibator EZ and Prolomet 25 for 2 years. TMT is also done but it was inconclusive. In 2016, ECG was abnormal and ECHO was showing LVH once and ECHO was normal after 8 months. In 2017 also I have taken ECHO and it was normal. But still ECG is abnormal. Why this ECHO is normal for sometime and abnormal for sometimes.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

LVH may regress with Prolomet which reduces BP and afterload and also reduces the heart workload by slowing heart rate. ECG abnormality may persist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
