What Causes Elevated Sugar Levels Post Lunch Despite Taking Medications?
In the mornings my Sugar levels show as 4.5%mmol/L, where as post lunch (say after 4 hours of Lunch) my sugar levels are 12.4mmol/L. I m suffering with type 2 Diabetes from 2yrs. My daily dosage includes Glycomet-500SR thrice daily & Gliclazide 80mg twice daily (Lunch & Dinner). Is my medicines are controlling my sugar levels or do I need to increase the dosage. Why the levels are normal in morning & high post lunch (even after 4 hours of lunch). Can you please help.
