What Causes Elevated Sugar Levels In A Person Suffering With Tuberculoma?

Hello sir..i was diagnosed with tuberculoma brain 11 months before.. since then i am taking akurit 4.., oxetol 300 n 450 mg, bendon half... n few months before doc has stopped my omnacortil. From january 2016 i am having vry high sugar levels.. i took glyphage 1gm for 10 days..sugar level bacame abt normal bt dn i changed to glycomet 500 mg twice a day..bt aftr 10 days no effect.. still i am having fasting sugar above 200. Give me proper guidence please.

Hi

Glyciphage 500 mg is not sufficient to reduce your blood sugar levels.Hence continue with 1g and repeat the blood sugar after 15 to 20 days.If any adverse effects occur due to 1 gram dose,500 mg dose along with sulfonylureas can be taken after physician consultation.
