Hi ! my present urinalysis reading is RBC 51-55 HPF. I have done all the test KUB twice and already consult a Urologist and have my CT scan and found out all the test are normal. why is it my urinalysis reading never becomes normal? My doctor told me to consult a nephrologist and have my urine test to be done at Kidney Institute.? my doctor is referring to my kidney? Thanks....! Good Day.! by the way im 45 years old.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have hematuria. There are many causes of blood in urine. Infection in kidney like glomerulo nephritis lower urinary tract infection can cause this. Other causes are trauma, tuberculosis cancer etc. You should go for complete kidney function test including renal biopsy. It will give you exact cause. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
