What Causes Elevated Heart Rate And Severe Anxiety?

Hello, well apparently I sustained a svt a few weeks back. But in the past I have had my heart rate start racing like it gets out of rhythm after a minute or so it went back in rhythm so my doctor put me on paxil this was 10 to 12 years ago. They seemed to stop, when I was starting menopause 49 they started again just here and there went to the doctor he put me on kolotopins seemed to go away. Now I am 53 under a lot of stress, anxiety out the roof, well my heart started racing and after 5 minutes it would not go back in rhythm. Went to the hospital and they gave me medicine through an IV to control my pulse. Went to a cardiologist and he says ablation right off the back. Is that the way to go? I am so nervous I am worrying about this every day. Thank you Renee
