What Causes Elevated Creatinine Levels?

MY WIFE IS 35 AND HER CREATININE LEVELS ARE ELEVATED. SHE HAS NOT BEEN THROWING UP THE LAST 2 DAYS BUT SHE IS WEAK AND IN PAIN. SHE HAS BEEN TO THE ER AND SH HAS A FOLLOW UP APOINTMENT TO SEE A KIDNEY SPECIALIST. JUST WONDERING WHAT THE CHANCES ARE THAT SHE IS IN EARLY STAGES OF KIDNEY DISEASE?

there are many causes of kidney failure but don't forget even much vomiting or less water intake may cause elevated creatine levels simply. it should be checked with CBC , Blood urea nitrogen and some additional tests to see cause.
